• Based in New Cairo, Sitara offers quality Theatre in Education in English. Lights, Sound, Scenery, Costume, Props, Puppets, Masks and Music create a magical occasion for the children of Cairo.
• But Sitara has one BIG difference, offering a uniquely interactive experience. Everyone is invited to help tell the story, while a handful of young audience members are asked to become characters in the play, working alongside professional performers and puppeteers.
• Puppets and masks designed by the acclaimed UK artist, John Barber. Performed, written and directed by Emma Davies and the Sitara team.
• Since it opened in October 2008, Sitara has played to over 8000 children and over 60 different international and national schools.
• Sitara shows and workshops are aimed at children aged 3-14 and are available to schools.
• Sitara Saturday Club offers a range of drama workshops aimed at children aged 5-11 and is available to individuals.

The Frog Prince

When a prince is turned into a frog, only the love of a princess will set him free. But what kind of princess would kiss a frog?

With their winning formula of music, magic and mayhem, Sitara follows the frog's quest to find royal love. Emma Davies and the Sitara Team combine interactive theatre with puppets and masks by the acclaimed design artist, John Barber, to create another fantastic experience for the children of Cairo.
